The aisles of Target and office supply stores are filling up with three ring binders and color pencils and there’s a collective groan from kids realizing the days of summer are waning. The store at apple.com is running their familiar college special once again- $100 to spend in the Mac App Store when you buy a Mac for school. So get your lunch packed up and your boots tied tight, everybody.
Not much to share in the goings-on of Apple today, unless you live in China, in which case the iPhone is coming to a real Apple store near you. Apple is reportedly penning a deal with China Mobile, the world’s largest cellular service provider. So that’s something. Also iOS5 is in the beta phase. So lucky you if you’re a developer.
Well, we’re still a few weeks off from the all the autumn musings and football analysis (though we’ve haven’t been able to resist a few Chiefs tidbits), but it’s finally a little cooler here in Kansas City and that’s a huge relief after the weeks of 110 degree heat indexes.
