Siri could be coming to MacBooks

Looking for a more friendly voice coming from your MacBook? Or any voice at all? You may be in luck. Apple's popular mobile assistant, Siri, may be coming to MacBooks in the next year, which means the laptop could soon be getting more interactive. For people who buy one of these new MacBooks with Siri (if they happen), MacBook repair is readily available for people who don't want to be with out the mobile assistant friend for long.

“One possibility is that Apple could hold off on enabling the voice dictation feature for anything but the newest breed of Macs, with redesigned 2012 MacBook Pro models expected imminently,” according to SlashGear, which reports that the Siri code was found in OS X Mountain Lion. “That might act as an encouragement for owners to upgrade, though it’s unlikely that there would be any technical reason that older models couldn’t run it.”

New MacBooks are expected to have additional features, but people who may want Siri on their old MacBook and could be able to get it should feel good in knowing they have repair options to keep their device and Siri around for years to come.

One thing Siri may not know is that MacBook repair doesn't have to cost and arm and a leg. Instead of blowing more than $1,000 on a new laptop, looking at ways to fix it could be a good way to go.
