No one really knows for sure, and Apple would never admit it. We do know that Apple does send out regular updates, and we don’t really know what’s in them.
What I wanted to bring to light here is something I noticed about my Apple products. This isn’t about the iPhone, though. It’s about the iPad.
I’ve had an iPad for about 3 years now. This iPad has been used almost every single day, and here’s the shocker: I only charge it once a week.
This probably makes you wonder what exactly I am doing on it because if I’m not not charging it often, I must not be doing much, right?
Well, I tend to surf the net and watch YouTube videos. I do this for about 2 hours.
Now, if you own an iPad – this may or may not surprise you that I only charge it once a week. It surprises me, so that’s why I am telling you this…
I’m also going to tell you that I do not update it. Whenever there is an update available, I bypass it. I have a feeling that if I do update it, my battery life nor performance will be as good as it is now.
So, what is the point of this blog? Don’t update your device. You like the way it is now, so why update it? Sure, you may miss out on some new features, but really, most people don’t use them. They are in a habit of how they use their phones, so changes may even be a bit frustrating.
