When customers call us, we ask them to go through a series of troubleshooting steps. This includes turning the Wi-Fi off and then back on again. This can solve the issue for some people, while others continue to deal with the same troubles.
We also ask them to perform a hard reset. This is holding down the Home button and the power button until the iPhone switches off. Wait a few seconds or a minute and then turn it back on. This can solve any problems that you experience with settings. Hard resetting turns everything off and then when it restarts errors usually are corrected.
When It’s Time to Turn to Our Certified Technicians
If this doesn’t help customers, the Wi-Fi issues end up usually being internal. Sometimes, drops can cause the internal antenna to break, disconnect, or just loosen. This means that our technicians will have to go into your phone and repair the antenna, or replace it with a brand new one.
