  • I ordered a DIY iPod battery replacement recently, for shipment to the UK. It arrived yesterday, and I was able to replace the battery easily using the instructions and special tool. My iPod is 2 years old, and has been used most days in that period. For the last 3 months the battery life has declined noticeably, but the new battery has restored it to full life. I am delighted, and just wished to let you know that I am a happy customer, especially as Apple has yet to announce a battery replacement program in Europe. Christopher D.
