My ipod battery needed to be replaced and I was a bit skeptical on what to do since the apple store didn't offer me a very good option. However, you all made the transition painless and notified me every step of the way (ie: when the foam shipping box would arrive, when you received my ipod, what work was being performed, when you mailed it back out) It's nice to know that a business still exists where the customer service is friendly, responds quickly and does the work correctly I've been recommending your company to all of my friends that own an ipod. Just wanted to send a quick "Thank You" to iResQ in general, and the technician who got my iPod working again for me.
I attempted to repair a hand-me-down iPod 3G myself, and had pretty good success.... until I buttoned it all up and tried to restore it. No good. I had already replaced most every component and didn't know if I'd done it wrong or just hadn't found the issue.
But I did know who to turn to!
Thank you for correcting the issue. Turns out that when I replaced the original 10 gig Hard Drive with an upgrade 20 gig drive I had incompletely attached the hard drive cable to the logic board. Silly mistake. The iResQ technician diagnosed my error, corrected it, and restored the iPod for me (at no charge)!
The now completely overhauled iPod was back with me less than a week from when I shipped it to you. I couldn't be more pleased!
So please pass along my compliments to the staff!

I'd recently dropped my 60G Video IPOD while on vacation, cracking the screen. I moped around for a couple of weeks, not being able to watch video, and having only 2/3 of the screen available for choosing my music.
I finally realized things were fixable, and found you guys online. I called IRESQ from VA on Monday afternoon. My IPOD shipping box came on Tuesday, and I had my brand new looking IPOD, with a brighter screen than it was new, by noon on Thursday. Now its "peace, love, and a healthy IPOD". Thanks Scott H.

I don't know how you do it. Just amazing. I call on Monday, get a box Tuesday, send iPod on Wednesday, you get it and repair it on Thursday, and I have it back by Friday morning at 10:00 AM. John, I was really surprised to see a package from DHL in my door at 11am today! 15 minutes after I opened the package my ipod was charging again and with the new battery; probably won't go dead in 15 minutes. Apple created a good product with decent software but when my battery died a year after I bought my 4 gb mini I was really disappointed. When I heard replacement through Apple was rumored to be nearly half of what I paid originally for it; I swore I would never own another. After hearing that there was a booming ipod repair market the other day on TV I did a google search and found you guys. I read some testimonials and then ordered my battery around lunch time yesterday. The 24 hour turn around time you guys provided was AMAZING and I will certainly do my best to promote you to anyone needing work on an Apple product. Thanks, David

Airborne just delivered my 1 GHz 15" Ti PowerBook. It's amazing what a good repair job you've done: the seams of the LCD screen don't look as if they've been cut, and the new hinges work just like the originals. This week I had major problems with my PowerBook G3 including a crashed CD-ROM. I thought it might be terminal if I couldn't get a new CD-ROM to reload the OS. Then I found you guys on the Internet and in 15 mins located and ordered a reconditioned unit which you sent out the next day and which I received a day later. I received my repaired PowerBook yesterday morning, got it up and running immediately, restored my data and got back to work. It is functioning beautifully and I thank you for your excellent repair work. I need to tell you how terrific your service is, as well as each person I have dealt with in your operation. I have been in service industries for over 20 years and I get very depressed about the sorry state of service in this country. Not only is service becoming a lost art, but increasingly people seem uninterested in rendering it at all (but always demanding it for themselves). In sharp contrast, MacResQ seems 100% focused on service. Not only in word but also in deed. Your service is fast and fairly priced with excellent communication and follow through. I could spend a good deal of your time relating the sharp contrast in your service performance from two local service providers whom I spoke with and declined to do business with (including CompUSA, where the technician spent most of his time telling me how busy he is). I will recommend you to any and all interested parties, and though I hope never to need your services again, I will use you at some future, inevitable time when I need to do so. I wanted to thank PowerBookResQ for getting my iBook repaired and updated with a new, larger hard drive. You have a great program on your hands! Shipping my iBook through your program costs $99 - granted, you overnight me a box, I pack my 'book, you ship it back. But I thought I could ship it for much less. So the day before I went on vacation (when else could I possibly be without my book for a week?), I took my iBook to the local shipper, and they said they'd be happy to ship it for me. It'd take them a day or so to make a box for it, charge me for that, and charge me for having packed the iBook "myself," then charge me to "overnight" the book to you a day or so later. Grand total? $350! One way! I ran away as fast as I could, and called PowerBookResQ to send me a box ASAP! You did. After that, no worries - everything went as advertised, and my repaired and upgraded iBook was waiting for me when I returned. Thanks, PowerBookResQ, for a great service! Scott Hastings
On two separate occasions I have been in need of service for my Mac PowerBook. The first time, MacResQ literally resurrected my machine. They got the machine functioning for considerably less than another computer would have cost. The second time I utilized their services, my screen was broken by my toddler. I received fast, friendly service that was economical -- much less expensive than I anticipated, in fact. Thank you, MacResQ - you have a customer for life!
I appreciate all the fast, hard work the staff of PowerBookResQ did for me and my iBook. I had an unusable original clamshell iBook. I saw your program on the Internet, so I figured I would give it a try. The service was far above what was described on the web site. The box came overnight, shipped back to you overnight and you called me the next day by 1:00 pm to let me know what was wrong. You even cleaned my iBook and gave me some screen care products when you shipped it back! When I received the iBook back, there was a new issue with the screen. You provided the overnight shipping back to you and replaced my screen at no charge! Rarely have I received this level or service and care from ANY vendor. Just a note to say thanks to everyone at MacResQ. Not only was the work done RIGHT, but was also done quicker than expected. And best of all, we thought we needed to replace the LCD display on our PowerBook (which was quoted at a very reasonable price) but MacResQ found the problem (a bad cable) and repaired it for less then originally quoted for the replacement LCD! To think my local Apple dealer wanted to charge me about $850 to replace the screen cable, something called inverters and the screen (he assured me that they NEEDED to be replaced) and charged me $45 for not even opening up the case! Just thought that I would let you know that the new hard disk and case which replaced the former trouble plagued one, arrived yesterday and is performing flawlessly (and quietly). I also very much appreciated the effort that you folks took in transferring my data from the old disk to the new. It saved me a lot of time and made up for some that I had lost before.
